Contemporary Abstract Art

News and Exhibitions 2008

Workshops
This summer’s workshops are on the theme of contemporary landscape in watercolour and mixed media. We will be based at the gorgeous and peaceful Waterperry Gardens, just off the A40/M40, between Oxford and Thame. We have the use of a well-lit classroom and exciting subjects in and out of the gardens. These include clipped yew, Palladian facades, formal and informal gardens, the River Thame, mature trees, a water-lily canal, and a small agricultural museum. Click here for the Summer 2008 workshop programme.
See
www.waterperrygardens.co.uk for more information about the venue, but please contact me with any queries about workshop content, dates and availability.

Exhibitions
I have been studying at Winchester School of Art for the last few years. This June, I will be exhibiting my degree show in Textile Art at the School, on Park Avenue, Winchester. The Private View is on 20 June, 6 – 9 pm, and the exhibition is open for a week – weekday opening times to follow. See also www.wsa.soton.ac.uk where there should be more information nearer the time in the ‘news’ section.
